This waterfront home in Mercer Island, Washington is crafted from the toughest of materials…concrete, steel and glass. Built for a family of four the house looks south across Lake Washington to the airfield where the couple first met when she was a flight instructor. The two-story vaulted living/dining room serves as the mixing zone for the house and the front door is approached via bridge connecting the street to the two story glass box.
